de Demokratie bedeutet "Herrschaft des Volkes" und meint in unserem heutigen Verständnis unser politisches System,
in dem jeder Staatsbürger eine und nur eine Stimme hat.
Somit ist er berechtigt zu wählen und hat, genauso wie alle anderen Staatsbürger, das Recht, die Richtung bzw. die Politik des Landes, die in Zukunft eingeschlagen werden soll, mitzubeeinflussen.
Im Konzept des Global Governance passt das bisherige Verständnis von Demokratie nicht mehr,
denn die bewusste, tendenziell gleichberechtigte Einflussnahme von Nichtregierungsorganisationen auf die globale Politik gefährdet die bisherige Demokratie.
Nichtstaatliche Organisationen sind weder demokratisch gewählt, noch genießen sie im allgemeinen die Akzeptanz oder Sympathie der Mehrheit des Volkes und sie spielen im Konzept des Global Governance trotzdem eine sehr zentrale Rolle.

Sie werden ihn unterschreiben müssen. Weiter will ich, dass Sie mir das Ausmaß Ihrer Freundschaft mit Herrn Ganley (dem Chef der irischen Libertas-Partei, die mit ihrer Kampagne maßgeblich das Nein der Iren zu Lissabon hervorrief) in Irland erklären.
Wie können Sie sich mit einem Mann treffen, von dem nicht klar ist, wer ihn bezahlt?
In Ihrer Funktion haben Sie sich nicht mir ihm zu treffen.
Das ist ein Mann, dessen Finanzen sich aus problematischen Quellen speisen und der die jetzt zur Finanzierung seiner Wahlkampagne für das Europaparlament nutzen will.
